Signing a message from your Ethereum wallet with MyEtherWallet

1st step: Access MEW’s website (https://www.myetherwallet.com/ ) and scroll down to the footer, selecting the option “Sign Message”.

2nd step: On the new screen, select how you’ll access your Ethereum wallet and unlock it.

3rd step: As soon as your Ethereum wallet is unlocked, type the desired message- your generated public key that should start with VIN, and click on “Sign Message”.

That’s it, now your message is signed. Using the resulting field, as highlighted on the screen below, you can prove to us that you have ownership of your wallet.
